Page Business Center is a redevelopment property that was originally developed by Dorris Gear Manufacturing in 1957. The owners purchased the property in 2005 and saw the potential to transform the property from an industrial manufacturing facility into a LEED rated flex building.
During the construction process 90.5% of the building’s shell was retained, the base building mechanical systems have no CFC’s or HCFC’s, 97% of the roof area is white (RTU or skylights are not included in the calculation) and 1,832.93 tons of C&D waste was diverted from the landfill. In order minimize water usage two 3,000 gallon tanks capture rainwater from the roofs and is used for irrigation. Recycled concrete from Eco Recycling, Inc.
